What the film is about:
Jacob Chansley, the “QAnon Shaman,” has become the face of January 6th, 2021.
When filmmakers Jason Rink and Paul Escandon first saw the images of him sitting in the Senate, wearing a fur pelt, horns, and face paint, they quickly secured an unfiltered interview with him on January 7th.
It would be the only sit-down interview Chansley would grant in the aftermath of January 6th.
This lead them to the filmmakers spending the next two years following and documenting Chansley’s story.
The film includes interviews exclusive video content of the events on January 6th, and the days following, as Jake was pursued and eventually arrested by law enforcement on January 9th, 2021.
As they followed his journey through the legal system, the filmmakers were granted exclusive access to interviews with friends, family, his lawyer, and numerous phone calls with Chansley from jail.
