Why subscribe to CounterFrame?

In January 2021, I was banned from Twitter, Facebook and Youtube for posting a documentary trailer for my film American Shaman. This was the first time that I experienced the effects of “cancel culture” for my independent journalism.

Why was I canceled? Because I was documenting the Constitutionally protected protest on the Capitol on January 6th. I never entered the Capitol, or trespassed on the Capitol grounds.

However, over the next three years I was harassed by the January 6th Committee, the FBI, the DOJ and the IRS for simply filming the events of that day.

I realized that there were many other independent voices who were being silenced about countless other issues because their perspective was “counter-narrative.” People who were curious, and who challenged the status quo.

I realized that the framing of the most important issues of our day were being intentionally crafted for public consumption in a controlled manner.

CounterFrame is a place where post documentary films I have directed and produced, along with political news and commentary, from a “counter-narrative” perspective.
